In year’s past, the Local I-60 has had a business staff of two business agents and a business manager who served as the primary individuals for handling member grievances and disciplinary investigations. These positions were phased out over time to focus on negotiation priorities and reduce budget expenses while funding legal fees.

As many chapters come to a close with the Local I-60 — longevity pay, pension litigation, policy issues, etc — we would like to shift our focus back to our main responsibility of representing members in day to day disciplinary and investigatory meetings. To help accomplish this goal, we will be appointing a business agent to join the Local I-60 leadership team.

Any member in good standing is welcome to send a letter of interest to by January 27th. If possible, please include a resume or details of past work experience and/or education that would make you successful in policy development, interpretation, and business communication.
