International Association of Fire Fighters, Local I-60
Nominations for the offices of President, Sergeant at Arms, three (3) stewards/trustees for Maricopa County, one (1) steward/trustee for Pinal County, and two (2) stewards/trustees for Pima County will be accepted from the floor at the November 16th, 2017 membership meetings at the date, time, and place indicated below. The term of office will run for two years beginning January 1, 2018 — however, pending by-law changes may increase the term length to three years beginning January 1, 2018. Candidates elected as President will also serve as a delegate to the International Association of Fire Fighters’ Convention which will be held in Seattle, Washington on August 6-10th, 2018.

Nominations may also be made in writing and must be received by Secretary-Treasurer Diana Overton via e-mail to Diana.Overton@locali60.org no later than 3:00 p.m. on November 16, 2017.
As provided in the Local I-60 Bylaws, any member who is in good standing is eligible to nominate candidates and run for office.
Candidates must submit a written acceptance of his/her nomination to Secretary-Treasurer Diana Overton by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017, via e-mail to Diana.Overton@locali60.org. Candidates who do not provide a written acceptance of his/her nomination by the specified time shall be removed from the list of candidates.
The election will be conducted via mail-in ballot compliant with the Local’s By-Laws and the U.S. Department of Labor requirement. Ballots will be mailed on or before November 28th and must be received back to the Local’s designated Post Office Box no later than 8 AM on December 15, 2018.
